Lady and gentlemen,

After agonizing deliberation and due to situations beyond our control, it is necessary to dramatically alter this year's event. COVID19 certainly impacts planning.

As you may also be aware, while DMTC opened for the racing season, it is without patrons. (And racing was cancelled for this weekend due to positive COVID19 tests among the jockeys.) With reports indicating a "second wave" of cases could occur this fall/winter, it's unlikely the Bing Crosby fall racing season will permit patrons. This would prevent conducting the event as done the past three years.

Therefore, crucial in our view is to plan and conduct an event that can be done to collect donated toys for the kiddoes.

Accordingly, this year's event will be a RIDE BY, DRIVE BY, AND DROP OFF toy donation on the same day, 22 November. The destination for the toy off is TBD, while waiting for confirmation from the DMTC's continuing partnership and approval to use the track's main lot for the toy drop off destination. If DMTC declines, we'll find another site. Other modifications include forgoing the biker breakfast and opportunity drawing.

It is critical that an event is held this year, continuing its hard earned momentum, growth, and success. We hope you'll continue to work with us to make this year's event a success.
